A book about the history of the Muskhaf Usman will be published

A popular science book on the history of the Muskhaf Usman, one of the oldest copies of the Holy Quran, is being prepared for the first time at the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan.

According to the Center's information service, the book extensively covers the origin, historical path, paleographic features, religious and cultural significance of the Muskhaf Usman, which was copied in the 7th century and is currently preserved in Uzbekistan. After publication, the book will be included in the exposition of the Center of Islamic Civilization, which will allow visitors to receive detailed information about this unique manuscript of the Quran.

The main goal of the project is to familiarize the general public with the high level of Islamic science, written culture, and traditions of Quran copying in the early periods of the Muslim world through this unique historical source preserved in the territory of Uzbekistan. This is another important step towards the study, preservation, and popularization of our great ancestors.
