In particular, memorandums were signed with Dr. Sali Shahsivari, Director of the "Al-Furqan" Islamic Heritage Fund and a member of the WOSCU board; Damir Mukhtyedinov, Rector of the Russian Islamic Institute and First Deputy Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation; Nathalie Bondil, Director of the Arab World Institute in France; Dr. Ahmed Seyam, Director of the Cairo Museum of Islamic Art; Despina Zernioti, Director of the Asian Art Museum on Corfu; Dr. Murtaza Bedir, Head of the Center for Islamic Studies; and Ziyabek Kabuldin, Rector of the Institute of History and Ethnology of Kazakhstan.
“I believe that the signed memorandums will undoubtedly serve as a foundation for future joint research, new discoveries, and strengthening of friendly relations,” said Firdavs Abdukhalikov, Director of the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan. “Moreover, this document will undoubtedly play an important role in taking the activities of the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, which is being built at the initiative of our respected President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to a new level.”
