President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, paid a state visit to this country on June 24-25.
In accordance with the program of the visit, bilateral meetings and negotiations at the highest level were held in the city of Ulaanbaatar. Issues of further development of Uzbek-Mongolian relations of friendship and practical cooperation were considered. The main attention was paid to increasing the volume and expanding the range of trade, promoting cooperation projects in industrial sectors, agriculture, mining, transport, and other priority areas, and continuing active cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
The Presidents, together with their spouses, took part in a joint concert of masters of art of the two countries. He visited the "Ikh Tenger" complex and watched the traditional "Naadam" games.
The ceremony became a symbol of the strengthening friendship between the peoples of the two countries and the beginning of a new stage in the development of Uzbek-Mongolian comprehensive partnership relations.
