Bangkok edition: A valuable "treasure" summarizing the history and culture of Uzbekistan

Earlier, we reported that the book-albums published within the framework of the mega-project "Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the World Collections", implemented by WOSCU, were donated to the National Library of Thailand.

This event was also covered in several Thai media outlets. In particular, the publication "Bangkok Business News" writes that efforts aimed at increasing the culture of reading in Thai society and promoting the value of books among young people are reflected in various events, such as the National Book Week. This week is held annually on the occasion of April 23 - World Book and Copyright Day and April 2 - National Reading Day, declared by UNESCO.

"The more than 70 volumes of the 'Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan' series, donated to the National Library of Thailand, serve as a valuable information resource and a treasury of knowledge summarizing the history and culture of Uzbekistan, strengthening mutual understanding between the Thai and Uzbek peoples, and stimulating cultural exchange", the publication states.

The publication also emphasizes that "the Republic of Uzbekistan can be proud of its cultural diversity, which is reflected in other cities, starting from its capital, Tashkent".
