New monograph: "Toreutics of Central Asia: From the Achaemenids to the Shaybanids"

This publication is based on the analysis of new materials - artifacts related to the cultural and artistic heritage of Central Asia. These artifacts were purchased by Uzbekistan from auction houses and private galleries in London for the exhibition and collections of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan. Most of the artifacts obtained were toreutics.

The main idea is to study the evolution of the forms of gold, silver, and copper objects in Central Asia from ancient times to the period of the Uzbek khanates, the semantics of motifs, and the evolution of style.
