The International Congress "Spiritual Heritage and Enlightenment in Central Asia" will be held in Tashkent on November 13-15 of this year.
About 300 foreign and local scientists are expected to participate in the conference, which is being held in cooperation with the Center of Islamic Civilization, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, the International Institute of Central Asia, and the WOSCU organization.
Within the framework of the congress program, a youth forum, cultural exhibitions, and an art exposition on the theme "Central Asia: a great past - a great future" will also be organized. Through these projects, the common scientific and cultural heritage of the peoples of the region and their contribution to world civilization will be widely demonstrated.
A special scientific collection entitled "Spiritual Heritage of Central Asia", containing scientific articles dedicated to the manuscript heritage, enlightenment ideas, and their modern analysis preserved in the countries of the region, will also be presented.
It is noted that the conference will become an important platform for science, history, culture, art, cinema, museology and library work, and the participants will get acquainted with the activities of the Center of Islamic Civilization, which was created for the first time at the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
